Luther’s
preface to the Epistle of Paul to the Romans is, after the Bible, one
of the most famous and best writings of all time. It was written when
there was a great darkness over the world and so much of the simple
truths from the Scripture, that were so obvious for the Apostles, had
been badly darkened over the years, making them so much harder to
see. What God showed Luther about the simple truth from the Bible,
about Righteousness by Faith, one could say was the first big step
away from the dark ages.
